Punjabis are known for their love for food, and Diljit Dosanjh leaves no stone unturned to prove the same. Time and again, the singer-actor takes to social media to share with his fans and followers how much he loves to eat and even cook, but his latest Instagram story about his favourite snacks is drool-worthy.
While he made his mark in Bollywood with Udta Punjab, Diljit has always been showered with love from the Indian diaspora across the world. His relatable cooking videos became a sensation during the lockdown and connected him with his followers pretty well. The singer is known to follow a healthy diet, but you would also see him indulging in nibbles here and there. This time, we spotted him with his snacks and the variety was quite impressive.
There were several packets of chips and crisps. One was a cheese-flavoured crisp, then there were others baked with salt and vinegar. There was a cheddar and onion chips packet on top, beside which we could see bite-sized chocolates and other similar snacking items. He wrote, “Mitar Aj Jashn Manaye Jaan Ge, Puthe Sidhe Saudey Khaye Jaan Ge” in Punjabi. Here, he talks about a night of celebration with lots of junk food.

While this caption left us in splits, this isn’t the first time that he has been showing his funny side to the followers through his food. Earlier too, he would post long videos on his Instagram stories, depicting the step-by-step method of making chicken curry. Interestingly, he would also engage in dialogue with Alexa while cooking in the kitchen. He would often ask her in Punjabi to play his songs, which would be misunderstood.
Sometime back, the Dil Se Desi actor was also seen cooking a Middle-Eastern dish. An egg-based dish, shakshuka, is a popular breakfast item in the region that is made with poached eggs and a tomato-onion gravy. All of this is paired together for a wholesome meal and Diljit aced it like a pro.
