In a recent interview with CNBC, it was Warren Buffett who said that he and Bill Gates own a Gold Card, which gives both the businessmen a few perks on dining, including free McDonald’s food for life.
This special McDonald’s card is the reason why Buffett’s family members enjoy their Christmas dinner at McDonald's every year. But this service is restricted to a city only for Warren Buffett. He can access free food at any McDonald’s outlet in Omaha, USA. On the other hand, Bill Gates has a card that allows him access to food in any McDonald’s outlet worldwide.
Buffett said that Gates’ card covers him from New York to Tokyo. He added, “There’s just a few of them [gold cards]. Bill Gates has one. He is good throughout the world, I guess. Mine is only good in Omaha, but I never leave Omaha, so mine is just as good as his."
How Can People Get Free Access To McDonald’s Gold Card?

McDonald’s organises a contest, usually in December every year. People can put their daily entry for McGold Card on the McDonald’s for Life website. You can also order food every day from the McDonald’s application, and your entry into the McGold Card competition will be made. The owner of the card gets free access to McDonald’s food twice a week for life (50 years).
Some websites also indicate that a person has to collect points, at least 300 every year, to be eligible to receive the Gold Card. One can only collect these points by ordering food from McDonald's. In India, you can purchase a McDonald’s McCafe Gold card from their website or Amazon. With a one-year validity, this card is available for Rs 900. You can purchase 16 coffees for the price of 8. There are silver and platinum cards that offer different kinds of benefits.
