Bill Gates Sips Tea Made By A Famous Chaiwala, Video Goes Viral

Microsoft co-founder and former CEO Bill Gates is currently on a visit to India and has already created significant attention on the internet. The 68-year-old philanthropist on Wednesday shared a video on Instagram, where he was seen relishing a cup of chai from a popular tea seller in Nagpur. 

Collaborating with the popular social media personality Dolly Chaiwala, Bill Gates praised India’s innovation culture in his reel. In the footage, the American billionaire businessman can be seen placing an order for "one chai" with the tea seller. Dolly Chailwala then prepares the tea in his signature style which created a huge sensation on social media a few days ago. The footage covers the tea seller adding ginger, cardamom and tea leaves to the milk and then serving it to Mr Gates. 

The final shot shows Bill Gates enjoying a hot beverage from a glass and posing for a photo with Dolly Chaiwalla. It was also accompanied by the text "Looking forward to many chai pe charcha”. As soon as the video was uploaded on Instagram, it went viral on the internet. Many are surprised and delighted to see the tech titan promoting the local culture and enjoying a cup of tea from a popular street vendor in India. 

The video was posted with a caption that said, “In India, you can find innovation everywhere you turn, even in the preparation of a simple cup of tea.” The clip has got more than 2 crore views, and 20 lakh likes so far. People in the comment section are calling this tea seller to be the luckiest person on the earth and are in shock after this collaboration.  

Dolly Chaiwala runs a tea stall near the old VCA stadium in Nagpur’s Sadar area and has become a social media personality after his unconventional way of preparing tea went viral on the internet. He has even hosted celebrities like Bollywood actor Nimrat Kaur and has over 10k followers on Instagram.
