I'm not very fond of visiting the market repeatedly, so I get food items in bulk and store them in the fridge. For example, avocados and lemons are stored in the refrigerator for several days. But, do you know some things should not be stored in the fridge for a long time? It's because of their shelf life, within which if they are not used, they get spoiled or turn harmful. So, today we will tell you which items should not be stored in the fridge for a long time.

BREAD

The first name on this list is bread. Many people buy two to three packets of bread and store them in the fridge for one to two weeks. This shouldn't be done. Bread should be kept for at least two to three days, as once the packet is opened, it becomes challenging to pack again, increasing the chances of it getting spoiled.

PANEER

You can easily store paneer in the fridge only if you follow the proper method. For example, if you place the paneer on an open plate in the refrigerator, it will likely spoil soon. Therefore, keep the paneer in the fridge in an airtight container whenever you store it. This will help it remain fresh.

EGGS

Many of you may buy a dozen eggs at once and store them in the fridge. However, this shouldn't be done because storing raw eggs in the refrigerator destroys all the nutrients. Therefore, along with raw eggs, do not store egg dishes in the fridge for a long time.

MUTTON OR CHICKEN

Many shopkeepers store chicken and mutton well in plastic wraps. You can also stick to a similar rule. However, it is not advisable to store cooked chicken and mutton in the refrigerator for a long time. As the fridge starts smelling, and it's not edible either.
