An Inside Scoop On Kriti Sanon’s Passion For Cooking And Baking

Stars are just like us! And in that, they also find therapeutic activities to engage in, while not shooting and making picture-perfect appearances. Take the case of Kriti Sanon – the acclaimed actress who has been a part of blockbuster movies like Mimi, Bareilly Ki Barfi and more. The actress took a liking to baking while everyone was holed up in their apartments during the lockdown and has made the activity a means to unwind and destress.

When she shared a video of a near-perfect multigrain chocolate babka loaf, followed by a picture of a quinoa oats banana cake, netizens instantly applauded her efforts. A self-confessed foodie, Kriti has admittedly refrained from following a stringent diet in the past, propagating the idea of eat what you like but working out simultaneously. Kriti’s love for cooking is also admirable as she has let her followers in on some kitchen action when she prepared a delicious Burmese staple – Khao Suey, a coconut milk-based stew packed with veggies and protein, meant to be eaten with rice noodles.

She had also taken a liking to whipping up a wobbly, soft caramel custard which she shared on social media, with the caption, “By yours truly #kriticalbaking”. A true Punjabi at heart, Kriti has been known to enjoy flavoursome food like prawn curry, which she’s also pretty adept at making. Although her everyday diet consists of simple food like parathas, chicken and egg sandwiches, the actress enjoys her cheat meals with aplomb.
