When you like Shah Rukh Khan or Amitabh Bachchan, baking a film-star cake is the easiest pick. You can paste cutouts of the actor on a toothpick and decorate the top of the cake. You can also take inspiration from the many characters the actor has brought to life on the silver screen and use fondant to add elements. For example, if you make a Shah Rukh Khan-themed cake, you can write ‘Main Hoon Naa’ on the cake, add names of his movies on the edges, decorate it with edible yellow flowers (re-creating mustard fields from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge), etc.

It might be 2024, but a true Bollywood buff cannot get over the days when Sharmila Tagore, Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, Rekha, Rajesh Khanna, and other such legends ruled the silver screen. You can steal moments from their times and decorate the cake with famous dialogues like ‘Mere paas maa hai’, ‘Kitni aadmi the’, ‘Pushpa, mujhe aansuon se nafrat hai’, and more. Add relatable elements belonging to famous characters from old films along with a black and white reel to make the cake stand out.

If you need a reference to decorate a cake, search for a movie poster on Google, and you will instantly start working. You can use fondant, edible ink, and other craft elements to recreate the poster on the cake.
