Have you had enough sandwiches with tuna salad? Then, for a delicious upgrade and additional protein, add some seasoned, boiled chickpeas. Simply mash the chickpeas and tuna. Add olive oil, a few drops of lemon juice, and salt and pepper to season the mixture. Onions and red pepper may also be included if desired. You can also eat this as a salad by using leafy greens like kale, lettuce, or baby spinach. Alternatively, sandwich it between whole-wheat bread for a satisfying meal.

Do you want to improve the standard tuna can? Witness how your favourite it is transformed into something intense and spicy by adding some chopped tomatoes, chiles, and cilantro. Add some lime juice and olive oil for an enhanced aromatic flavour. Simply warm the tuna, combine it with the other ingredients, and then roll it into a hard shell or soft corn tortilla to enjoy a lean Mexican meal.

If you've never tried stir-frying tuna, what are you waiting for? So go ahead and test it out right now. Toss a can of chunky tuna in a wok or pan and start cooking. Add some soy sauce, ginger powder, white pepper, and frozen vegetables. Combine all ingredients in a skillet and cook till they are done. Serve it over brown rice.

 

Tuna gets grilled to turn into a burger

This time, swap up your usual beef burgers with tuna burgers. To prepare this, stir together 1 tbsp sesame oil, 1 softly beaten egg, 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, and 1/4 cup finely diced red bell pepper. Add 1 pound of fresh tuna that has been chopped finely into 1/2 cup of panko breadcrumbs.

Make them into patties and grill both sides for 3 minutes each till they turn slight brown on the exterior. Place it inside two halves of a burger in the centre and include your choice of vegetables, salads, and cheese.
