Directions : Pizza Flavored Mathri Recipe

STEP 1.Take a bowl to add 2cups of wheat flour, 2tbsp rice flour(for the extra crunch), mixed herbs, chili flakes, and oregano (1tsp each).

STEP 2.Add salt to taste and mix all the dry ingredients generously.

STEP 3.Then add ¼ cup ghee and mix it well with the dry ingredients.

STEP 4.Now start adding water at room temperature a little at a time and start kneading the dough.

STEP 5.Just enough water for kneading a tight dough.

STEP 6.Divide the dough into 5-6 parts making a small dough ball. And keep it aside for 10min.

STEP 7.Take a waffle bell and dust some wheat flour on the dough.

STEP 8.Make a roti (don’t make the layer too thin), then with the help of a cutter or glass cut them in small round shapes.

STEP 9.Take the extra dough and again make a dough ball and repeat the steps.

STEP 10.Now with the help of a knife or fork make a small scratch or hole in the mathri.

STEP 11.Take a kadai to add the right amount of oil to fry.

STEP 12.Preheat the oil beforehand.

STEP 13.Add the mathri’s one by one and fry them from both sides till golden brown.

STEP 14.Let it cool for 30mins at room temperature.

STEP 15.You can store it in an airtight container for 10-12 days.
