Ingredients for Pizza Flavored Mathri Recipe

  • 2 cup Wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoon Rice flour
  • 1 teaspoon Mixed herbs
  • 1 teaspoon Chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1/4 cup Ghee
  • As required Salt
  • As required Cooking oil to fry

  • STEP 1.Take a bowl to add 2cups of wheat flour, 2tbsp rice flour(for the extra crunch), mixed herbs, chili flakes, and oregano (1tsp each).

  • STEP 2.Add salt to taste and mix all the dry ingredients generously.

  • STEP 3.Then add ¼ cup ghee and mix it well with the dry ingredients.

  • STEP 4.Now start adding water at room temperature a little at a time and start kneading the dough.

  • STEP 5.Just enough water for kneading a tight dough.

  • STEP 6.Divide the dough into 5-6 parts making a small dough ball. And keep it aside for 10min.

  • STEP 7.Take a waffle bell and dust some wheat flour on the dough.

  • STEP 8.Make a roti (don’t make the layer too thin), then with the help of a cutter or glass cut them in small round shapes.

  • STEP 9.Take the extra dough and again make a dough ball and repeat the steps.

  • STEP 10.Now with the help of a knife or fork make a small scratch or hole in the mathri.

  • STEP 11.Take a kadai to add the right amount of oil to fry.

  • STEP 12.Preheat the oil beforehand.

  • STEP 13.Add the mathri’s one by one and fry them from both sides till golden brown.

  • STEP 14.Let it cool for 30mins at room temperature.

step 15

  • STEP 15.You can store it in an airtight container for 10-12 days.
