Juicy deep fried slices of beef stir fried with garlic and flavoured with oyster sauce. Garlic-flavoured strips of beef in oyster sauce with vegetables makes a quick and easy one-pan supper. This is one of my top choices when eating out at a Chinese restaurant and today I’m sharing my version of garlic beef in oyster sauce, so you can try it for yourself.

Ingredients For Garlic Beef In Oyster Sauce Recipe

300 gram Beef fillet or rump steak
2 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
1 tablespoon Light soy sauce
1 tablespoon Sesame oil
4 No.s Garlic Cloves
10 gram Ginger
1 No.s Small Onion
1 teaspoon Sugar

Directions : Garlic Beef In Oyster Sauce Recipe

STEP 1.1 in a large mixing bowl add 300 gm thinly sliced beef steak or rump, add 3 tbsp corn flour and mix well to evenly coat all the beef.

STEP 2.2 in a wok heat ½ ltr oil, when hot add the beef and stir to separate the pieces. Deep fry for 30 seconds.

STEP 3.3 use a slotted spoon to remove and drain the beef. Siscard the oil.

STEP 4.4 in a wok heat 1 tbsp oil, add 4 cloves finely chopped garlic, 10 gm finely chopped ginger, and stir fry for a few seconds.

STEP 5.5 then add 1 tbsp light soy sauce, 2 tbsp oyster, 1 tsp sugar and stir fry for 10 seconds.

STEP 7.6 add the fried beef, 1 small onion cut into small wedges and stir fry for 1 minute.

STEP 8.7 add 1 tbsp sesame oil and stir together quickly. Turn off the heat.

STEP 10.8 transfer to a dish and serve hot.
