Date cake has the sweetness of dates and the sweetness of love. Our anglo-indian teacher who is also our family friend was fond of baking. She lived in a beautiful cottage in jeolikote and loved to treat her friends with cakes. Once when we visited her, she baked a date cake for us. Date cake is a very soft cake with a unique flavour and the sweetness of dates.
