Brigadeiro ice cream is a fun frozen twist on Brazilian favourite dessert: Brigadeiros made with sweet condensed milk, chocolate and butter, unsweetened cocoa powder, heavy cream, salt and chocolate sprinklers this fudge like sweet-ball. The fun play of cake truffle and chocolate ice cream is delicious and breath taking. A creative twist on ice cream cake.

Directions : Brigadeiro Ice Cream Recipe

STEP 1.1 place the cream inside the freezer for 10-20 minutes.

STEP 2.2 mix cocoa powder, condensed milk and butter in a heavy base pan.

STEP 3.3 cook it on low medium heat for about 10 minutes while stirring it continuously.

STEP 4.4 turn off the flame and add ¼ of the cream to the pan and mix well.

STEP 5.5 whip the cream with a hand blender for 3 minutes so it becomes stiff.

STEP 6.6 to the whipped cream add ¾ of the prepared mixture, salt and mix it so it becomes creamy.

STEP 7.7 transfer 1/3 of this ice cream mixture to a freezer safe container and, with a spoon, add a few swirls of the remaining brigadeiro.

STEP 8.8 add 2 more layers in the similar manner.

STEP 9.9 freeze it up for 6 hours at least.

STEP 10.10 garnish with some chocolate sprinkles
