Directions : Basundi Recipe

STEP 1.In a pan take milk and heat it on medium heat.

STEP 2.When cream begins to gather, stir well.

STEP 3.Mix the cream well with milk.

STEP 4.Repeat this procedure until milk is reduced to half of its quantity.

STEP 5.When milk reduces to half, add sugar and mix well.

STEP 6.You can decide the quantity of sugar as per your taste.

STEP 7.Cook for another 15 minutes.

STEP 8.Turn off the gas and add cardamom powder.

STEP 9.Mix well and basundi is already.

STEP 10.Though basundi looks a bit thin when hot, it will thicken up as it cools down.

STEP 11.You can garnish basundi with dry fruits or saffron too as per your taste.

STEP 12.You can serve basundi hot or cold too.

STEP 13.Basundi goes well with poori.
