What Ingredients Do You Need?

  1. 1½ cup chopped potatoes 
  2. 4 tbsp olive oil
  3. 1 tsp Fenugreek seeds
  4. 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  5. 1 tbsp chopped ginger
  6. 5 chopped small chillies with a mix of red & green
  7. 1 tbsp finely crushed ginger
  8. 1½  salt
  9. ½ tsp turmeric
  10. 130g white poppy seeds 
  11. 4 bunches of English spinach

Method of Preparation:

  1. Peel the potatoes and finely chop them
  2. Then add olive oil to the base of a pressure cooker and fry the fenugreek and mustard seeds 
  3. After that, add the fresh ginger, chopped chillies and crushed ginger to it and stir properly 
  4. Then mix in the potato, salt, and turmeric for colour and taste
  5. Cook the potato in the pressure cooker until the potato is half cooked, which will take approximately for 5 minutes
  6. Grind the poppy seeds to a powder and add them to the potatoes 
  7. The next step is to finely chop the spinach and stir it into the potato mixture, continuing to stir until the potatoes are pureed and the spinach has reduced
  8. Now you just have to make sure to cook the spinach just right to maintain its colour

What Ingredients Do You Need?

  • 1 cup chopped methi leaves
  • 1 chopped medium-sized tomato
  • 1 chopped medium-sized onion
  • 5-6 cloves of minced garlic 
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Pepper powder and salt according to your preferred taste

Method of Preparation:

  1. First, heat the oil in a heavy-bottomed pan
  2. After that, add the garlic and onions to the pan and sauté till it turns golden brown
  3. Add the tomatoes and cook them for a short amount of time. (4-5 min)
  4. Then add methi leaves and cook until it is done
  5. Cook for one whistle under pressure after adding water
  6. Blend half of the mixture in a blender
  7. Mix well with the entire soup and cook for 15 to 18 minutes
  8. Add pepper and salt according to your preferred taste
  9. Mix it properly and serve it hot
