Swara Bhaskar seems to be currently on cloud nine as her wedding festivities have begun at her home in Delhi. For the uninitiated, the actor announced her marriage to political activist Fahad Ahmad on February 16, 2023, as the couple legally registered their marriage in court on January 6, 2023, under the Special Marriage Act. The couple will now get married traditionally on March 16, 2023. The rituals for the same recently kicked off with a Holi-like Haldi for the couple, pictures and videos of which went viral online. Swara shared a short video of the celebration as well.
But can an Indian wedding be complete without some scrumptious food? Never. And Swara is one bride who is ‘keeping it real’ by enjoying it all. Taking to her IG stories on March 12, Swara shared a series of stunning glimpses from her mehendi ceremony with Fahad. And in one such video, Swara can be seen sitting with Fahad, enjoying a plateful of chaat at her own Sangeet ceremony. It seems like a papdi chaat topped with oodles of dahi and spices. After filling a spoonful, she looks at the camera and says, "Apni hi shaadi ka chaat kha rahe hai," and laughs while looking at Fahad.
Now that's a real foodie bride who simply cannot resist Delhi ki chaat at her own wedding, isn’t it? Swara wrote "Keeping it real" on the video, along with her wedding hashtag '#SwaadAnusaar'. Here is a glimpse from the video:
