The Delhi-based actor came to Mumbai to become a model at the tender age of 18 and well, as destiny had it, Siddharth Malhotra made it to the movies with Karan Johar’s My Name Is Khan as an assistant director. The actor made his acting debut with Student Of The Year and ever since then, we’ve seen him in several movies. Along with an immense love for movies and acting, Sidharth Malhotra is also a big-time foodie. He has often been seen indulging in his favourite foods like the time he visited Delhi to have the Dilli wali chaat.

Do you remember the time he was shooting in Istanbul? He gorged on this lavish Turkish platter with all kinds of Mediterranean dips. A true Delhiite at heart, Sidharth was recently spotted drinking his favourite drink in the morning. He took to his Instagram stories to share a glimpse of his chai ki kettle and we are loving it. A basic black kettle that reminds us of our ghar wali chai, the kettle is placed on a table and the view outside is amazing. Overlooking a lush green lawn and blue sky, we see this kettle on the table. He adds a sticker to it saying, “Good morning” and it’s all that we needed to get through the rest of the week.

Here’s what we are talking about.

Are you also a tea-lover like Sidharth Malhotra? Here are some tea recipes that can soothe your soul.

1.  Adrak Tea

Adrak aka ginger is a really calming and soothing ingredient, which when added to chai, makes it even more wholesome. A few slices of ginger into your brewed tea leaves and well, the aroma of that chai ka cup will do the rest of the talking. It is also said to cure cold and cough and keep infections at bay.

2.  Peach Basil Iced Tea

Since summers are here, some of you might want to take a break from the hot cup and switch to some chilled versions of tea. We’ve got this peach-flavoured iced tea recipe for you. The sweetness of peach when paired with the freshness of basil, lends the entire dish a different flavour. Pop in those ice cubes and relish the tea away.

3.  Tulsi Masala Tea

Tulsi is a great addition to chai and the flavours of tulsi lend a distinct aroma to the cup. Tulsi is considered to be a natural immunity booster and has such a herbal touch to it that you can cure many illnesses too. Churn a masala tea with the goodness of tulsi and you’ll be soothed to the core.

4.  Elaichi Chai

The elaichi that you would usually take out of your biryani and keep aside because that is like an obstacle in your good food is actually a great addition to chai. Also known as cardamom, this ingredient works well in all seasons. Break an elaichi and sprinkle it in the boiling water along with tea leaves. It has a strong fragrance and distinct aroma.
