You know how fascinated we get at hearing a certain xyz dish being served at a restaurant. It is the dish that lures us into heading out to that place. Then there are times when a renowned chef takes over the reigns and it is the master creations of their hands that we love gorging on. Such elite and luxury experiences are quite memorable. Similarly, what if we tell you that you could dine at your favourite celebrity’s restaurant and eat the menu that has been curated by them?
A huge name in the Indian fashion industry and well-known for his wedding and ethnic couture, Manish Malhotra has carved a niche for himself and his brand. From mega events like awards nights to wedding outfits and gowns, his collection is a premium affair. No, we don’t mean that Manish Malhotra has his own restaurant chain, though we hope so in future. The fashion expert was spotted dining at a celebrity-owned eatery in Mumbai and it was Bastian. Owned by Shilpa Shetty, the restaurant offers a hand-crafted European and Continental fare.
The fashion designer took to his Instagram stories to share glimpses of his dessert at the restaurant. It was a ball of chocolate that arrived on his table. The server lighted an electric flame and sprayed it over the chocolate globe which gradually melted by the heat of it and out came scoops of ice cream covered in chocolate sauce. The presentation is what left us awestruck. With a side of strawberries and nuts, it looked absolutely delish.
Just like Shilpa Shetty, there are several other celebrities who own restaurants. If you happen to be in and around Delhi, do try these celeb-owned eateries for a lovely meal.
