There are plenty of people who enjoy caffeine the first thing in the morning. The aroma of coffee beans can be very tantalizing, especially a freshly-brewed cup made in the morning. Celebrities like Vicky Kaushal and Shahid Kapoor have also made coffee their go-to drink. Do you remember the time when Shahid Kapoor hopped on to the coffee trend and made a hilarious reel out of it? In fact, even Mira Kapoor has made it clear that coffee is what drives her every day.

Vicky Kaushal has been a strong coffee lover and has made it evident from his coffee stories every now and then. The craze for coffee is so real that a luxury designer, Sabyasachi collaborated with a popular coffee brand to desigh aesthetic mugs for them. If this isn’t true love, we don’t know what is. Karisma Kapoor is another patron that has recently been added to the list of coffee bugs. She took to her Instagram stories to share a picture of herself getting ready in the mirror while her coffee sits in front of her. She adds a sticker to it saying, “But first, coffee”. What caught our eye was the expensive coffee mug which is a part of the recent collaboration between the foreign coffee brand and the Indian designer.

Here’s a glimpse of the same.

Best Coffee Alternatives That You Can Add To Your Diet

If you’re addicted to coffee, we totally get it. It is the caffeine inside it that makes you tempted each time you smell coffee. There are days when you cannot function because you didn’t get your coffee on time. If you are looking for ways to cut down on caffeine consumption, here are some alternative drinks you can try.

1.  Matcha Tea

Made from matcha leaves, the green tea leaves bring out a flavourful aroma that has a soothing and calming effect. You can make the tea with a tea whisk made from bamboo for a lighter version or you could add dairy to it if you like. It is considered to have immense health benefits, ranging from weight loss to lower risk of diabetes.

2.  Hot Lemon Water

This is a personal habit that I have developed over the years. Squeeze some lemon juice in a glass of lukewarm water. Add a drizzle of honey if you like and drink it up on an empty stomach. Not only does it work wonders for digestion and gut health, it is a great way to hydrate the body without caffeine intake.

3.  Kombucha

Yes, you can drink up kombucha too. This is a delicious alternative to coffee. The fermented black or green tea leaves are added to your morning drink to make it healthy, gut-friendly and refreshing. For this purpose, you can consume Kombucha tea or make a nice fresh lemonade with kombucha in the morning. This has a sweet aroma that is quite tempting.
