There are a few families in Bollywood that are known to have their own charm. One of them is the Kapoor family. This family has given us plenty of veteran actors and as well as new-age talents. From Randhir to Ranbir Kapoor and from Arjun to Jahnvi Kapoor. Arjun Kapoor started his career with Ishaqzaade which recently completed a decade, marking his 10 years in Bollywood. He celebrated with some delicious food. He enjoyed some pancakes with a drizzle of chocolate sauce. Then we saw Jahnvi Kapoor asking Arjun for a rakhi gift and we were quite sure that the two siblings are hard-core foodies. The Ki and Ka actor has been applauded for his performance in diverse genres like thriller, crime, action and comedy. He even featured in the film based on Chetan Bhagat’s book called 2 States.

Sometime back, Arjun Kapoor was hogging on a bowl of Pad Thai and we found his fascination for Thai food quite interesting. Recently, we came across his Instagram story where he was dangling a plate of pasta in the boomerang. He tagged @akshayarora3 and wrote, “Aakhri Pasta”. Seems like the actor is going on a diet since it is his aakhri (last) pasta. The pasta looks like a whole wheat fettuccine with seasonings like chilli flakes and oregano. In fact, the caption of the video also reminds us of the famous dialogue from comedy drama, Housefull where Chunky Pandey’s character saying, “Aakhri Pasta on London Raasta”.

Do you want to see what the Mubarakan actor’s pasta look like? Here’s a glimpse.

This treat of Arjun Kapoor has sent us some pasta cravings too so we are thinking of making some ourselves. Here are few recipes that are easy to make.

1.  Pasta Arrabbiata

Tangy tomato sauce made with fresh cherry tomatoes is mixed with boiled penne and a delicious pasta comes right up. It is also an angry pasta recipe so you can make it spicier by adding as many red peppers as you like. Top it with some basil leaves and your delicious meal is ready. This yummy pasta can be garnished with grated cheese too.

2.  Zucchini Linguine

On a diet but want to eat pasta? The soft and yummy strands of linguine are the best. You can use whole wheat pasta if you want. Lightly toss the boiled linguine in grated zucchini. Flavour it with garlic and cheddar cheese. Add some yoghurt to make it saucy if you like and enjoy a green pasta.

3.  Spaghetti With Meatballs

Why have veg spaghetti when you can add meatballs to it? This is a classic dish where the thick noodles of pasta are paired with chunky and chewy meat balls. The hearty bites have a tangy sauce mixed with them and the spaghetti is served hot. Make sure to cook spaghetti al dente so as to enjoy the best flavours. The marinara sauce can be slightly hot and fiery if you like spicy food.
