Venturing into Bollywood with social-cause based Udta Punjab, the sensational singer made his mark in the Hindi industry too. Another thing that keeps his fans hooked on to his life is his fun cooking videos. The singer cum actor is also a die-hard foodie but it was his cooking talent that remained hidden until the lockdown.

The Phillauri actor made Indian delicacies like rajma and chole to chicken curry in his home kitchen and his commentary was what left his followers in splits. Since it was the weekend yesterday, we surfed through his Instagram stories to see some fun content and ended up finding these delicious treats. Seems like Diljit Dosanjh was on a roll yesterday as he indulged in plenty of sweet and savoury bites. Making the most of his Sunday, he was enjoying everything with his friend.

The Ikk Kudi singer started with a crispy multi-grain toast. It was topped with salmon on the base, sliced avocados, cherry tomatoes and onions. Next, we see a pair of blueberry waffles on his plate. There’s whipped cream and powdered sugar all over and it tastes heavenly. Finally, we see his friend/eating partner and on the table are some muffins and fruits in a can.

Here’s what we are talking about.

Are you craving the waffles too? Try these waffles recipes for next Sunday.

1.  Chocolate Chip Waffles

Chocolate lovers, this one is for you. A great balance of chocolate and waffles, the waffles are fresh and hot and topped with tiny chocolate chips. Slice some ripe bananas on it and this can be a delicious breakfast treat for you. On this you can add some whipped cream or serve it with a scoop of ice cream and some chocolate syrup too to amp up the taste.

2.  Lemon Blueberry Waffles

Fruity flavours work best in case of waffles and that’s why we want you to try these blueberry ones. Frozen blueberries can be added to the waffles with a drizzle of melted butter. A dash of lemon extract gives certain tanginess to the dish which makes it unique. You can also use fresh blueberries if you like. The blueberries are sweet and the lemon is citrusy so the two flavours complement each other and are relished to the core.

3.  Zucchini Waffles

Surprised much? Don’t be. These are interesting green waffles which are made from grated zucchini that has been turned into a paste. The crunchy waffles have a flavourful of this green vegetable in them and some chopped toasted walnuts are added to it too. You can pour loads of butter and maple syrup onto it and enjoy the hot dish.
