Even though Valentine’s Day falls on Monday this year, lovers around the globe are leaving no stone unturned to make their partners feel special. It’s the gesture that matters they say, so even if you cannot book a table at your favourite restaurant or plan a four-course meal, there are plenty of things that can still be done to make the day memorable for both of you. If you are into baking, you can try these dainty and gorgeous-looking Jam Heart Cookies by Hyatt Regency, New Delhi.

The cookies are from Hyatt’s Valentine’s Day menu. One of the key highlights of the cookies is that they do not require a legion of ingredients. Most of the ingredients like butter, sugar, flour, egg whites and strawberry jam are perhaps lying in your pantry already. All you need to do is whip these ingredients together, and bake them in shape of hearts. The layer of the jam goes right on top, again in shape of hearts, red and beautiful hearts.

Trust us, once you master the art of making these cookies, you will be making it again and again, with or without any occasion.

Remember, when you are mixing the ingredients, start with mixing butter and sugar and keep mixing until you get a creamy mixture. To this, add egg white, flour and almond dough. And make sure you let the batter freeze. This will ensure your cookies are of the right size and they are not deformed or flattened when they are baked at a high temperature.

Without further ado, here’s the recipe you have been looking for.
