Mami Tiffin Stall
Mami Tiffen Stall is an iconic Mylapore restaurant that has a loyal clientele. The place is known for great South Indian food and humble prices. The food at Prems Graama Bhojanam is inspired by rural India and is made with organic, naturally sourced ingredients. It is one of Chennai’s most popular places for dosa, which comes in varieties like benne dosa, red rice dosa, ragi dosa and millet dosa. The ghee roast dosas are served plain, or with masala or podi. The place also offers thalis.

ID is known for offering interesting takes on regular dosas and has a few outlets across Chennai. The establishment makes some of the best dosas in the city and has been able to garner a loyal fan following. Besides the regular plain, butter, ghee and masala dosa, ID also serves a spicy nellore erra karam dosa, mushroom masala dosa and roasted garlic dosa.

Murugan Idli Shop
Despite its name, Murugan Idli Shop is known not just for its idlis but for its dosas as well. The chain has outlets in the UK and Singapore as well. Try the ghee dosa, butter masala dosa, rava dosa or ghee podi masala dosa. The chutneys that are served on the side are tasty and some of the best that can be found in the city.
