 Popular fitness instructor Yasmin Karachiwala has shared an amazing recipe of chocolate rice cake bars that are gluten-free and vegan. These chocolate bars are treats that you can have without any guilt. In an Instagram post, she shared her own guilt-free and vegan chocolate rice cake bar recipe that you can munch away without worrying about anything. Yasmin captioned the post, ‘Are you ready for my rice cake crispy bars which are super tasty, a little tedious to make, but totally worth it!!! The good news is it has only 4 ingredients and will get all your chocolate cravings covered. Plus, it’s gluten-free and vegan!’.

Let us see quickly how you can make these healthy chocolate rice cake bars at home just like Yasmin Karachiwala did. Follow the steps below. 

Ingredients 

  • 8 rice cakes 
  • 80g dairy-free chocolate (melted) 
  • 2 Tbsp peanut butter 
  • 1/4 cup vegan chocolate protein powder

For toppings 

  • 40g dark chocolate, melted
  • 1 Tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 Tsp maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp vegan chocolate protein powder

Method 

  • Take a bowl and add the melted chocolate mix.  
  • Add in the peanut butter and protein powder until smooth. 
  • Take another bowl and crumble the rice cakes into small chunks. 
  • Pour this mixture into the crumbled rice cakes and fold until every crumb is coated with chocolate. 
  • Now transfer this mixture into a container with non-stick paper and press down until flat and even. 
  • Make the toppings by mixing the melted chocolate, peanut butter, and protein powder together.
  • Place the slice in the freezer for 30 minutes to set before slicing. 
  • Enjoy
