Actress Yami Gautam who was last seen in the multi-starrer horror comedy ‘Bhoot Police’, is riding high on all the compliments she has been receiving for her part. In the movie, Yami seeks out the help of two modern Tantriks, played by Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor, to get rid of the spirit haunting her tea plantation. In an interesting turn of events, Yami ends up getting possessed. Yami revealed how she always wanted to be part of a horror flick in an Instagram post since she has always enjoyed the same as a viewer. On the personal front, Yami has had quite an eventful year; she got married to Uri Director Aditya Dhar in her hometown in Himachal Pradesh. The low-key affair created quite a stir on social media, where Yami happens to be quite a sensation. Yami, who has over 14 million followers on her account, featured a new talent on her sister’s Instagram account. Surilie Gautam captured Yami Gautam baking a delicious chocolate cake in her latest Instagram reel. With Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘Vibe’ playing in the background, Yami steals the show as a baking pro.

She started with mixing all the dry ingredients like cocoa powder, flour, and baking powder, and proceeded to sifting them, then she mixed them with the wet ingredients until she got a nice batter. After placing the batter in a round cake tin, she placed it in the oven and fed a piece to her sister dearest, who in turn called Yami a “perfect baker” in the caption.

Making chocolate cake is very easy once you have all the ingredients in place. Yes, there are certain factors you have to keep in mind, like ensuring that the batter is not too thin or too thick and that it has no lumps. Another rule of thumb is to mix dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately before they are combined. Wondering why your cake turns so bitter? That’s because you have used a lot of baking powder. Always measure your ingredients when baking a cake of any kind.
