The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) is all set to host another edition of World Food India 2024 on the dates of 19-22 September at the Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. In its newest approach, the congregation has been planned in a way where the country’s booming food processing sector attracts strategic investments this year. Not only will this allow India to command a position in the global food market, but also showcase its diverse culinary heritage.
Started in 2017, the World Food India event celebrated the many virtues of millet varieties last year, themed around the International Year of Millets. Following this and making a headway to build relationships with global collaborations, the theme of this year has promised to further this by spotlighting emerging trends, breakthroughs and new opportunities. The exhibition at the congregation has been slated to showcase various representational pavilions belonging to states, countries and even products like millets and organic food.
