The 2nd of September is celebrated as World Coconut Day every year. This day reminds us of the importance of coconut in cooking and its health benefits. It was started in the year 2009 by the Asian and Pacific Coconut Community. They contribute towards creating awareness among people about the benefits of coconut and its products like oil, milk, husks and water

The theme of World Coconut Day 2023 is "sustaining coconut sector for the present and future generation." Some popular dishes prepared with coconut in India are chutney, laddoo, kheer, avial, curries, rice, pachadi and so on. But if you are looking for some unique ways to celebrate this day why not try some coconut-based cocktails?

Made with several interesting ingredients like liqueurs, fruits and garnishes, cocktails are perfect to amp up any kind of celebration.
