Oats are one of those healthy ingredients no one associates fun dishes with. It is seen as boring, healthy and something that is appropriate to eat when you are on a diet. But it is important to understand that a little creativity and experiment can make everything interesting. From salads to snacks to desserts, there are several dishes that can be made with oats.

Quaker Oats Mango Pancake
¾ cup (175g) Powdered Quaker Oats
1 sliced Banana or ripe mango
¼ cup Plain flour (maida)
2 Egg whites
½ - ¾ cup (150g) Skimmed milk
Sugar (optional) As per taste
1 tsp Vanilla flavor
Powder ¾ cup of Quaker oats.
Puree one sliced mango or banana with little milk.
Add powdered Quaker Oats, Maida, and egg whites to the puree.
Add sugar, vanilla essence, and skimmed milk to it.
Mix well to get pouring consistency.
Heat a non-stick pan and pour the pancake batter on it.
Cook on medium flame until edges are brown.
Drizzle with honey and serve.
Quaker Oats Vanilla and Lemon Waffle
½ cup Roasted and powdered Quaker Oats
½ cup Whole wheat flour
1 ½ tsp Baking powder
2 Egg white
1 tbsp Powdered sugar (optional)
½ tsp Vegetable oil (optional)
¾ cup Milk
½ tsp Vanilla essence
1 Lemon Zest
Roast ½ cup Quaker Oats for 2-3 mins. Cool and grind.
Mix Quaker Oats, whole wheat flour, baking powder and salt.
Whisk two egg whites. Add ¾ cup milk, ½ tsp oil, ½ tsp vanilla essence, 1 tbsp powdered sugar (optional) and zest of 1 lemon.
Mix it well.
Add the flour mixture and blend.
Pour in the waffle mixture and bake till golden.
