While the three main meals occupy the important parts of our daily diet, let’s not forget that it is the snacking that we do in between that actually includes our favourite treats. Our hunger pangs in between meals are satisfied by those crispy, delicious tidbits - including chips, fryums, and more. Come winter and these cravings increase by leaps and bounds.

This is the time when we want to stay tucked in our bed with yummy snacks to keep ourselves warm. And why not, this season brings along with it a range of yummy delicacies to gorge on. From Gajar Ka Halwa to Til Papdi, Gajjak, Peanut Chikki, and more - there is no dearth of delicious winter treats that leave us spoilt for choices.

Winter season demands one to keep the body warm from within, and this is where our diet plays an important role. Til (or sesame seeds) is enriched with fibre, iron, copper, Vitamin B and E, calcium, and good fats - all of which help us to keep warm naturally and stay nourished. Peanuts have a good amount of fibre, protein, and Omega-3 fatty acids that help provide energy to keep going during the season. These two together make for an excellent snack for the season.

If you too are a fan of such hearty winter treats, this Peanut Til Barfi recipe is sure to please you. A scrumptious winter snack, Peanut Til Barfi is quick and easy to prepare, and just requires a handful of ingredients.
