Amidst the pandemic, a lot of us donned the chef hat and started visiting the kitchen more often. Right from dalgona coffee to baked feta pasta, there were plenty of interesting recipes that made it to the gram and created a rage. Among these, we also chanced upon certain bizarre and weird food combinations that made us yell, scorn and detest our favourite eatables like maggi and oreo a number of times. There were very less occasions when we were actually impressed by someone’s creativity and felt like trying out what we saw on our screens.
Recently, we came across a similar thing. A food blogger shared a reel of Gulab Jamun ice cream roll and we got really tempted. The combination of hot gulab jamuns with chilled vanilla ice cream already keep us smeared but an ice cream sounds even better. The blogger, @foodiesince96 shared the video on her Instagram handle and we can’t stop watching it. Here’s what the video was about.

The video begins with the vendor chopping a gulab jamun into slices. He then takes a measuring cup and pours some melted cream over the gulab jamun. Then begins the chomping wherein he gets the entire mixture together so that it blends into one thick ball. He spreads the mixture over the slab and flattens it. He takes the knife and starts rolling the ice cream from one edge, in an upwards direction. Once he has rolled up five to six rolls, he places them in an ice cream cup and tops it with half a gulab jamun.
