However, a dahi puri video uploaded on Instagram recently seems to be driving people away from their favourite food. Surprising, isn’t it? Why? Because, this dahi puri is made with gems and pomegranates!
In the clip uploaded by a food blogger with the username @bhook_ho_na_ho, a street vendor in Nagpur is seen making dahi puri with gems and pomegranate. The vendor is seen preparing dahi puri and then topping it off with gems and pomegranates. The video has garnered over 87k views and around 2.6k likes along with hundreds of comments.
The comment section is filled with angry comments from netizens who are almost done with the weird food trends. A user wrote, “Craving died in side corner of the creativity 🤢😖 (sic)”, while another user commented, “Yeh street food walo ki dimagi halat thik nai hai kya? (sic)” According to the blogger, the chaat is made by a street vendor in Itwari.
