Come summers, lemon is a respite in the sweltering heat. I’m a huge fan of lemon-based dishes and drinks personally and enjoying sipping at least one glass in a day. The benefits of lemons are no stranger to us. The citrus-based fruit is a great source of Vitamin C which helps in keeping infections like cold and cough at bay. Moreover, it isn’t just the juice but even the pulp that is beneficial for us. The pulp contains fibers which improves the overall digestive system.

One lemon, several advantages, isn’t it amazing? Interestingly, a group of people in the UK have put lemons to an innovative use which has left the netizens stunned. They have given the world’s largest fruit battery made of lemons. Created by Shaiful Islam in collaboration with members of the Royal Society of Chemistry, the lemon battery generates 2,307.8 volts of electricity with the help of close to 3000 lemons. Don’t believe us? Take a look.
