Vaani Kapoor Indulges In South Indian Delights In Bangalore

South Indian cuisine has a special place in the heart of every Indian. From simple idli sambar to flavourful prawn curry, this region has a plethora of mouthwatering dishes to offer. Packed with a lot of aromatic spices and local ingredients, this cuisine brings a diverse platter of several indulging delights. Even Bollywood celebrities are a huge fan of South Indian food, and they keep on praising it on their social media. 

Recently, Vaani Kapoor gave a sneak peak of her latest food escapades in Bangalore which had some lip-smacking South Indian treats. Known for her outstanding performance in movies like Bafikre and War, the 35-year-old actress took Instagram stories to share her culinary adventure with fans. Take a look

One of the stories she posted featured a yummy bowl of curd rice with a sprinkle of pomegranate seeds. It was accompanied by crispy white papadums. The caption said, “Curd rice for lunch.” This South Indian meal is a go-to comfort food for many people in the country. Mostly enjoyed as a simple and hearty lunch, creamy and tangy curd-rice is often paired with pickles and papad. 

In the next story, Vaani offered her followers a visual of mouthwatering chicken Chettinad and Malabar parotta. This delightful combination can be a heaven for all non-vegetarian fans. Chicken Chettinad is a gift of Chettinad cuisine which belongs to the state of Tamil Nadu. It is a fiery curry prepared with a lot of flavourful spices and herbs like red chillies, poppy seeds, cumin, black pepper and so on. 

While Malabar parotta is a layered flatbread made with all-purpose flour (or wheat flour), ghee, sugar and salt. It belongs to the region of Kerala.
