Top 5 Gin And Tonic Cocktails For A Boozy Summer Party

Besides margaritas, pina coladas, mojitos, mai tai, aperol spritz, and Moscow mules, gin and tonic cocktails are popularly enjoyed across the world during the summer. Served in a high-ball glass, this mixed drink is made by combining gin and tonic together, along with the garnish of a lime wheel.

Believed to have originated in Holland during the 1840s, the gin-based drinks were initially created to combat malaria. In the early 19th century, the British Army in India gave gin and tonic a new identity by mixing them with water, sugar and lime to make the drink more palatable.
