There are little things that can evoke as much joy as chocolate ice cream and guess what? We are here to make the experience even more gleeful with these fantastically yummy and easy recipes by the Hyderabad-based restaurant Platform 65. Chocolate ice cream in itself is absolute bliss, but try combining it with a scoop of strawberry ice cream, some chocolate chips and flakes and you have an absolute winner, Chef V H Suresh- Corporate Executive chef, Platform 65, Hyderabad, gave us a recipe that has got us obsessed. Ingredients: 

  • Strawberry ice cream- 2 scoops
  • Chocolate ice cream- 2 scoops
  • Milk – 100ml 
  • Chocochips- 50gm 
  • Chocolate flakes for garnish 

Method:

  1. Add 2 scoops of strawberry and chocolate ice cream into the blender and blend it well. 
  2. Pour the chocolate and strawberry mix into a serving glass, or a glass bottle. 
  3. Add choco chips to the drink and garnish with chocolate flakes.

So, we got hold of yet another, perfectly pleasant and simple recipe you can make with some leftover brownies. Add more crunch and drama to the dessert with crushed Oreo biscuits, chocolate syrup. Chocolate ice cream, hazelnuts and almonds. The nuttier it is the crunchier it is, so do not be stingy with that. Chocolate ice cream helps make the base of this dessert, but you can substitute it with Vanilla ice cream too. This recipe is by chef V Suresh of Platform 65. Nutty Brownie Overload

  • Almond- 10 gm 
  • Hazelnuts – 10gm 
  • Chocolate syrup- 50 ml 
  • Brownie- 30gm 
  • Oreo- 5 biscuits 
  • Chocolate Ice Cream- 2 scoops

Method:

  1. Preheat the brownie to 50 degree and place them in a glass jar. 
  2. Add ground hazelnuts, almonds, and crushed Oreos to the brownie. 
  3. Add 2 scoops of chocolate ice cream and overload it with chocolate syrup. 
  4. Garnish with some chocolate chips/flakes and enjoy it.
