Let’s just agree that a cup of coffee is an instant energy booster, and is thus one of the most important morning rituals for millions of people worldwide. The ambrosial aroma of the beans, combined with milk and sugar or enjoyed straight up makes for a delightful start to the day. Isn’t it? Making a cup of coffee is also an art, considering how everyone likes it differently. But for those who like it with a hint of liquor, it is a whole new game. 

Right from sourcing the beans and grinding them, to brewing the liquor, coffee cocktails are becoming quite a rage these days. The best part? There is no end to experiments. You can make in countless different ways, with many different ingredients, to suit your taste. And to help you brew up a storm at your bar, The Simple Brew has got some of the most amazing coffee cocktails, made from coffee concentrates which are quick and easy to brew, and you simply need to stir, shake, and bake with it! These coffee concentrates blend well with water, milk, tonic, lemons, or orange juice and can be used to make cocktails and mocktails. 

1. Cafe Rojo Frio 

Ingredients: 

  • 30 ml coffee concentrate 
  • 30 ml añejo tequila 
  • 30 ml sweet vermouth 
  • 30 ml Campari 
  • Dash of orange bitters 
  • Orange peel 
  • Ice 

Method:

  • Fill an old fashioned glass with ice 
  • Combine all ingredients in the glass 
  • Stir to incorporate all ingredients 
  • Garnish with an orange peel 
  • Enjoy!

2. TSB Dark 'n' Stormy 

Ingredients: 

  • 60 ml coffee concentrate 
  • 60 ml dark rum 
  • 100 ml ginger beer 
  • 15 ml lime juice 
  • Lime wedge (optional) 
  • Ice 

Method: 

  • Add all ingredients except ginger beer in a cocktail shaker 
  • Fill shaker with ice and shake 
  • Empty in a glass filled with ice 
  • Top up with ginger beer 
  • Stir 
  • Garnish with lime wedge 
  • Enjoy!

3. Dirty Negroni 

Ingredients: 

  • 60 ml coffee concentrate 
  • 30 ml gin 
  • 30 ml sweet vermouth 
  • 30 ml Campari 
  • Orange peel 
  • Ice 

Method:
