Indian Coffee House has become a Bengaluru institution over the years. It is a humble, unpretentious place with plain wooden furniture and a one-page menu. While the food menu includes idli, vada, vegetable cutlets, dosa, sandwiches, egg preparations like omelette, fried egg and scrambled egg, and bread with butter and jam, the drinks section includes hot coffee, cold coffee and rose milk. Brahmin’s Coffee Bar is known for its reasonably priced South Indian breakfast and filter coffee. There’s no seating, so be prepared to stand and enjoy your order of idli, vada or kesari bath.
