Indian Coffee House

Indian Coffee House has become a Bengaluru institution over the years. It is a humble, unpretentious place with plain wooden furniture and a one-page menu. While the food menu includes idli, vada, vegetable cutlets, dosa, sandwiches, egg preparations like omelette, fried egg and scrambled egg, and bread with butter and jam, the drinks section includes hot coffee, cold coffee and rose milk. Regulars tend to return for the filter coffee.

Brahmin’s Coffee Bar is known for its reasonably priced South Indian breakfast and filter coffee. There’s no seating, so be prepared to stand and enjoy your order of idli, vada or kesari bath. Both the idli and vada are served with a generous amount of chutney, and make the ideal accompaniment to steaming hot filter coffee.
