1. 1kg Chicken

2. 1 nos Ginger

3. 5 or 6 cloves Garlic

4. 3 srprigs Curry leaves

5. 6 or 7 Dry red chilli

6. 1 tbsp Turmeric powder

7. 1 ½  tbsp Red chilli powder

8. 1 tbsp Coriander powder

9. 1 or 2 tsp Salt

10. ½ cup Oil


1. Crush ginger and garlic set aside.

2. Crush dry red chilli and set aside.

3. Then cut and wash the chicken, keep aside.

4. Take a pan, add cleaned chicken, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, crush ginger garlic paste, salt and curry leaves, mix them well and marinate for half an hour.

5. Heat oil in apan add marinated chicken and fry them well till they become golden brown.

6. Drain and keep aside.

7. Serve the tasty and spicy chicken kondattam with appam or meals.
