Zafrani pulao or saffron or sweet pulao is a Mughlai treat made of rice, saffron, sugar, and dry fruits. It is served during festivals and occasions. Here's how you can make zafrani pulao at home-


1. 2 Tbsp Butter

2. 1 tbsp Ghee

3. 10 Green cardamom

4. 25-gram Almonds

5. 25-gram Cashews

6. 25-gram Raisins

7. 1 kg Basmati rice (semi cooked)

8. 100 gram Sugar

9. 500 gram Milk

10. 50-gram Cream

11. A pinch of Saffron

1. Margarine and ghee are added to a pan for taste. Almonds, raisins, and cashew nuts should be added. Stir continuously for two to three minutes.

2. Stir in the basmati rice that has been partially cooked.

3. Fill the saucepan with milk and cream, then heat it for five minutes.

4. Stir for about 2 minutes after adding the sugar.

5. Milk with saffron added should be heated for three to four minutes.

6. Fill the rice with this milk. For five minutes, cover it and let it finish cooking.

7. Serve hot with chopped vegetables as a garnish.
