Sundar Pichai’s Go-to Indian Food
Recently, the CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai, sat down with Varun Mayya for a candid podcast. When asked about his favourite food, Sundar Pichai narrowed the innumerable Indian dishes to his three favourites from the metro cities: Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. He says, “When it’s Bangalore, I will probably get a dosa. It’s my favourite food. If it’s Delhi, chole bhatura. And if it’s Mumbai, I’ll do a pav bhaji.”
The rather candid answer of Google's CEO shows how much he is like the rest of the Indian population, who probably have the same go-to dishes. Apart from this, his answer to how to get into the leading tech giants of the world like Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, and Google lies in going deeper into the basics. People could see a Bollywood fan in him when he quoted the famous scene from the movie “3 Idiots” where Aamir Khan, who played Rancho, was asked about the definition of a machine.
