Most of us would agree that we don’t really need a reason to eat cake. With the kind of sweet tooth I have, I would go buy a cake as and when I crave one. Sometimes, a delicious cake is needed simply to turn our day around. You may not have an excuse to have a cake, but a piece of it always feels so comforting. A layered creamy goodness on a spongy base with decadent flavours inside. Who can resist a bite of it? And, guess who was recently seen enjoying one such cake? Yes, Sonam Kapoor. The Bollywood star and mom-to-be has been hitting the headlines ever since she announced her pregnancy with husband Anand Ahuja.
And since then, Sonam has been setting new goals from fashion to diet to babymoon. And in between everything, she has been sharing snippets of everything, along with her pregnancy cravings with her fans and followers. Currently holidaying in Tuscany, Sonam has been sharing adorable moments from her relaxing vacation on social media with over 32 million followers. From a mouth-watering Italian treat of pizzas and pastas to decadent desserts, Sonam’s babymoon is a foodie’s paradise. Latest update on her Italian vacation is about a cake, which we saw on her Instagram stories. In between a string of pictures from her Tuscan holiday, we spotted a glimpse of a beautiful looking green coloured cake topped with layers of white, pink, and green cream, aesthetically placed on a dinner table with a huge lit candle. Sonam and Anand’s culinary adventures are surely making us hungry. Earlier the couple were spotted in an outdoor café on the streets of Tuscany, wherein Sonam was seen sipping a cool glass of orange juice instead of wine while her spouse, Anand Ahuja, was seen drinking water from a bottle to which she replied, "Water is the best!" In the same café, the Veere Di Wedding actor appeared to be savouring a delicious bowl of arrabbiata pasta, the sight of which made us slurp a bit. Pasta has become a mass favourite across the world and arrabbiata sauce, in particular, has many fans. It is a spicy sauce made from garlic, tomatoes, and dried red chilli peppers cooked in olive oil, which is primarily used in pasta.
