No-Bake Brownie (Makes 16 Squares)

This is a raw, whole food plant based recipe for quick no-bake brownies

Ingredients

    2 cups walnuts/almonds/cashews

    1 cup cocoa powder

    1.5 cup dates

    A pinch of salt

    ¼ cup soaked raisins

 Directions

    Process the nuts in a blender until coarse.

    Add to this, the cocoa powder and salt.

    Next add the dates, a little at a time and keep blending until it becomes a consistency like cake crumbs.

    Keep adding the dates until the mixture sticks together.

    Chop the raisins and mix in with the dough.

    Transfer to a plate or pan and set.

    Refrigerate for an hour.

    Cut into squares and serve.
