WITH LABUBU FEVER sweeping across Asia — from viral unboxings to celebrity-studded shelves — the latest Wacky Mart collection by POP MART has turned the mischievous creature into a lineup of convenience-store snacks. Think Tempura Shrimp Labubu, Onigiri Labubu, Cup Noodle Labubu, and even a Tin of Sardines Labubu…each one a bite-sized gremlin disguised as your favourite grab-and-go treat.

That got us thinking: what if we stumbled upon the creator’s secret sketchbook? A behind-the-scenes notebook filled with rough ideas and delicious prototypes yet to hit the shelves?

So, in the spirit of foodified Labubus, we imagined five brand-new mischief-makers from around the globe — some melty, some ghostly, all extremely snackable.

Pizza Punk Labubu

Food Inspiration: Pepperoni slice with stringy cheese

Design Highlights:

  • Triangular slice costume with wavy cheese edges
  • Melty mozzarella as fringe/hair
  • Wide, toothy grin peeking out through the crust
  • Pepperoni spots double up as decoration + armour

Personality Quirk: Starts food fights. Never finishes a slice.

Back-of-box Copy: A melting slice of mischief, “gobbling” for trouble…

Note: Let the cheese stretch off the edges. Make it look like Labubu just cannonballed out of a pizza oven.

Boba Bandit Labubu

Food Inspiration: Classic Taiwanese bubble tea

Design Highlights:

  • Translucent cup with floating tapioca pearls
  • Giant striped straw stuck through the lid
  • Labubu holding a rogue boba pearl

Personality Quirk: Loves hiding in your cup, then stealing your last sip

Back-of-box Copy: A sneaky sip of trouble, bursting with mischief!

Note: Try a tall cup so the boba float around Labubu’s tummy. Also: bubble pearls = eyes watching you.

Bento Brawler Labubu

Food Inspiration: Japanese bento box

Design Highlights:

  • Divided tray with broccoli, tempura, rice ball
  • Labubu holding an angry-faced onigiri like a weapon
  • Pose mid-leap, arms up like a scrappy fighter

Personality Quirk: Too spicy to sit with the soy sauce section

Back-of-box Copy: A feisty fighter with a hearty punch!

Note: Use action lines around the rice ball; it’s both sidekick and snack.

Croissant Phantom Labubu

Food Inspiration: Buttery croissant

Design Highlights:

  • Flaky croissant wrapped like a hood or shell
  • Ghost tail body with tiny claws
  • Soft swirl lines on croissant mimicking horned hair

Personality Quirk: Drifts through boulangeries stealing crumbs and dreams

Back-of-box Copy: This ghostly Labubu drifts through the air on buttery croissant layers.

Note: Consider glow-in-the-dark ghost tail for limited edition variant.

Vada Pav Vandal Labubu

Food Inspiration: Iconic Mumbai street snack

Design Highlights:

  • Vada pav “hat” with chilli on top
  • Furry body with crusty ears
  • Slightly squat, ready-to-pounce pose

Personality Quirk: Sets off spice alarms and scooter horns wherever it goes

Back-of-box Copy: On the streets of Mumbai, you might hear a cackle…

Note: Lean into the towering vada pav look! The chilli hook adds a mischievous touch.
