Smoothies You Will Crave This Summer Season

We often talk a lot about staying hydrated during the summer season to avoid dehydration. As we know, water makes up nearly two-thirds of the human body. It helps in bodily functions like keeping our skin healthy by eliminating toxins, promoting proper digestion, allowing our eyes to retain moisture, etc. Once our body loses water, it needs to be restored to maintain a balance between the salts, glucose and other minerals in the body, to keep our biological processes working optimally.

What is a hydrator? A hydrator (like hyaluronic acid) helps to bring water to the skin using humectants. These humectants help collect moisture in the environment and bind it to the skin, which allows the skin to absorb the water. Pure Hyaluronic Acid serum is the perfect example of a hydrator.

Staying well hydrated can seem like the biggest challenge in life. Some days you would’ve emptied an entire bottle of water and yet feel your thirst unquenched. Even though you drink enough water throughout the day, you might feel dehydrated and uneasy, especially during the summer.

It is understood, then, that staying hydrated is important, so why not do it with delicious smoothies? Hydrator smoothies contain re-hydrating ingredients like lime, watermelon and cucumber to keep your body cool and hydrated, and your skin moisturised. Fruits rich in water content in any form are beneficial, be it as a juice or as a smoothie—or eating them as they are.

The best thing about a smoothie is that you can include different fruits and create your own flavours. Drinking smoothies allows us to absorb water faster into our body, helping us stay hydrated throughout the day. Fruits like watermelon, pineapple, dates and muskmelon have a lot of water content in them. These fruits not only keep you hydrated but also decrease the risk of you falling prey to obesity, diabetes and heart disease, while increasing your energy levels and keeping your cells active.

Drinking a smoothie with all of the above-mentioned fruits will not only keep you hydrated but also benefit your body in other ways, by boosting you with vitamins and proteins.

Now, let’s go back in time. It’s the last day of school and summer vacation is just about to begin. We would all fulfil our bucket list and hope that we were refreshed all the time, not only from the outside but also from the inside. That’s the time when our parents would nag us to eat fruits and drink juices so that we remain healthy. Well, time doth fly. Those days are gone but the smoothie culture has been kept alive.

Let me give you an insight into how a smoothie can help you and your body. First of all, it helps in natural weight loss and prevents the growth of cancer. Second, it gives mental clarity and results in clearer skin. Third, a smoothie allows you to gain energy and focus. Remember those blurry moments during Saturday night parties? A smoothie might give you a hangover but it’s one that is fun and full of positivity. If you include smoothies in your regular diet, you can look forward to a healthier tomorrow. Besides, the rawer fruits and veggies our body consumes, the more in sync our body, mind and soul will be.

Hydrator smoothies are perfect for any situation because dehydration never needs an invitation—there is the watermelon electrolyte, watermelon lime chiller and strawberry lime chiller, to name a few. Every smoothie has its own speciality but the baseline is that they keep you hydrated, so you can always stay naturally high.
