Sharbat To Kheer Try These Tadgola Recipes

Have you heard about ice apples? While the summer season is all about happiness, we can't get enough of our favourite fruits. One of the most popular summer fruits is the ice apple, and we enjoy collecting them. It is a fruit, after all, that is native to southern India. In Tamil, it is referred to as nungu, however most people refer to it as tadgola. Fruits taste best in the summer, which is why we look forward to it all year. Apart from being hydrating and delicious, Ice apple has several health benefits and are believed to be loaded with nutrients. While the fruit is extremely flavourful here are a few recipes.

Ice Apple Sharbat: Ice apple is an extremely calming and cooling fruit. Consider making a sharbat out of it. There is no way this could be any better, right? The recipe is very straightforward, and preparing it doesn't take long either.

Recipe: Take the ice apples, remove the shells, and separate the water in a glass for the recipe. Take a large glass or a container and combine coconut water, iced apple water and sugar in it. Stir until all of the sugar is dissolved. You should now chop your ice apples into little cubes and stir them into the mixture. Add ice cubes and serve cold.

Ice Apple Vada: Have you ever had sweet vada? If you haven't, you must sample the Bengali speciality known as Ice apple vadas.

Recipe: Take the ice apples, take off the shells, pound them into a fine pulp, and then strain the mixture. Make a fine batter by combining this with jaggery, cinnamon, and rice flour. When the batter is smooth, pour it into the shape of vadas and drop it into a pan of hot ghee. Fry the vadas till they are golden brown on both sides. Hot Ice Apple Vadas are ready to be served.

Ice Apple Kheer: We all agree that Payasam or Kheer is a favourite dessert among many. We enjoy chowing down on bowls of them, which are frequently cooked during festivals or celebrations. Why not prepare Paayasam this summer using Ice apples?

Recipe: Take the apples, strip the skin off, cut them into cubes, and set them aside to make the Ice Apple Kheer recipe. Now combine milk, cinnamon powder, and blanched almonds. Combine milk with the almond mixture, and then simmer this mixture until it thickens over a low flame. To this, add sugar and well combine. Add your ice apple chunks last, let it cool in the fridge, and then serve it.

Ice Apple Rose Milk: Rose milk has a delicious flavour and is very calming in the summer. We frequently rush to the neighbourhood shops to grab a glass of chilled rose milk. Nothing can go wrong with this recipe because it uses our beloved summer fruit, ice apple as its main ingredient.

Recipe: Combine milk and two to three tablespoons of basil seeds. Place it in the fridge for about 15 minutes, or until the seeds start to swell. Next, combine more milk, sugar, and rose syrup into the mixture. It can then be given ice apple cubes and left for 30 minutes. Offer it cold.
