Saransh Goila who is in City of Nawabs these days takes to Instagram and writes “Biryani party to celebrate 🥳🥂 GBC in Hyderabad. Only fair that while the city eats butter chicken we get to enjoy some #delishaaas biryani at Cafe Bahar. I first came to Cafe Bahar when I was 25! I still remember the taste of my first Hyderabadi biryani it was right here on this table! Topping of chicken 65, ek anda with some salan and raita on the side.

The ratio of rice is almost always much more than meat here unless you order extra chicken. I still remember Cafe Bahar family teaching me that the secret lies in sourcing good quality meat and A1 chawal. After that if you pay attention to cooking of rice 'truly an art dum cooking is' @mrnigelng will agree. They layer the rice in the dum handi step by step, bottom is filled with pre boiled rice (the top half from the boiler) and the top of the handi has pre boiled rice (that was at the bottom of the boiler) This ensures every grain cooks evenly and finds its true potential. What a great way to celebrate this day ❤️🥂💯 Which is your fav Biryani spot?
