Celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor, who was most recently on a trip to Kasol with his wife Alyona, paid a visit to Prateek Sadhu’s acclaimed restaurant – Naar. Known to incorporate local Himalayan produce in their seasonal menus, Kapoor dined with his wife and friends in tow – getting to sample a total of 15 dishes which he described as ‘exquisite’. Sharing his experience of the meal, he shared glimpses of it on social media. Detailing further, he said, “Had an absolutely incredible meal at NAAR (@restaurantnaar) in Kasauli. Thank you @prateeksadhu for such a lovely experience! We indulged in a delightful culinary journey through 15 exquisite dishes, where every bite was a celebration of flavour and skill. Kudos to the entire team and keep up the great work!”
Sipping on white wine in between courses, the chef and his companions enjoyed flaky breads and whipped butter, pork belly served with a host of condiments, a noodle bowl and deep-fried breads topped with creamy cheese and onions, among other things. Prateek Sadhu – whose Kashmiri roots inspire the menu that is offered at Naar, is the only Indian chef to helm a two Michelin star restaurant. Bringing his craft and experience from helming Masque in Mumbai, Sadhu went on to open Naar in Kasol in 2023 – quickly rising to the ranks of being one of the finest dining experiences in India.

In addition to this, Kapoor also posed for pictures with Prateek as well as his team, basking in the sunny weather. Prateek also shared his appreciation for Kapoor thanking him and sharing his happiness on the chef’s visit. Given how the restaurant has always drawn appreciation from all the celebrity chefs who’ve dined here before, it comes as no surprise that he also had a great time.
