1) Peanut Curry

Peanut Curry is made by blending roasted peanuts into a creamy sauce along with onions, tomatoes and spices like chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder and garam masala. Once combined well, it is sauteed in oil with cumin seeds, mustard seeds and curry leaves then salt is added. With a balance of nuttiness and spice, this recipe creates a flavourful sabzi to pair with leftover rice or roti.

2) Peanut Chutney

Similar to peanut curry, peanut chutney is made by blending roasted peanuts with other ingredients. For the recipe, chillies, curry leaves, urad dal or chana dal, garlic clove and cumin seeds are sauteed in some oil before combining with roasted peanuts and salt for blending. After a fine paste has been made, it is tempered with cumin seeds, dried red chilli and curry leaves.

3) Sesame Peanut Noodles

In this recipe, boiled noodles are seasoned with a tempered mix of coarsely ground peanuts, chilli flakes,  sesame oil, soy sauce, and garlic. Additional spices can also be included as per the taste. Then salt is added and noodles are well coated in the temper, creating a flavourful recipe instantly.

4) Roasted Peanut Chaat

Roasted peanuts, combined with murmura, chopped onions, tomatoes, coriander, chaat masala, salt, and sev creates a tantalising chaat blend for late-night snacking. You can also include crushed papdi, pomegranate seeds and more spices to make it your way.

5) Peanut Rice

Move over traditional fried rice and try this delicious peanut rice recipe. It is made by adding peanuts to the stir-fried base of onions, tomatoes, cumin seeds, chilli powder, salt and turmeric. Peanuts get well cooked with other ingredients in oil and rice is added on top of this base. Then it's combined well and garnished with fresh coriander leaves.

6) Peanut Sundal

Peanut Sundal is a South Indian snack that features boiled peanuts sautéed with spices like  mustard seeds, curry leaves, and asafoetida. To finish off, it's tossed in grated coconut which brings a flavourful texture and taste. With the combination of nuttiness and tanginess, this recipe is a wholesome no-effort treat.

7) Peanut and Vegetable Stir-Fry

Leftover vegetables can be delicious with the addition of peanuts. If you have some leftovers of cabbage, carrots, cauliflower or any vegetable, simply chop it up, stir fry in some oil with chopped onions, tomatoes, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, spices, and salt. Then add in the ground or whole roasted peanuts to the mix. Peanuts bring nuttiness and texture to the stir fry, which makes it interesting.
