  • 2 tbsp mint chutney
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Pressure cook the soaked and drained chana dal with enough water and salt for 2-3 whistles or until soft. Drain any excess water and keep it aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, add the cooked chana dal, chopped onions, tomatoes, and green chilli. Mix well.
  • Add the tamarind chutney, mint chutney, chaat masala, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix everything well until the chana dal is well coated with spices and chutneys.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with lemon wedges.
