Rajasthani cuisine is as rich as the culture of the state. Its tangy drinks, spicy starters, mouth-watering sabzis and crunchy bread along with added delights of chutneys, achars, papad, and chhach are every food lover's favourite delicacy.

Although Rajasthani cuisine is mainly known for its vegetarian items, some do enjoy non-vegetarian dishes such as laal maas. Common ingredients used in the recipes are beans, lentils, gram flour, corn, barley, millet, bajra, bread and dairy products (especially ghee).

One of the most popular dishes is bajre ki khichdi, prepared from millet and contains a huge amount of ghee with vegetables and lentils. Dal bati is enjoyed all over India for its uniqueness.
