India is a country where cultures and colours abound. It is home to numerous tribal communities and their diverse food. 

Sinki, Tungrymbai, Onla Wangkhrai, Dung po from the Northeastern states of India, Jaunsari, Teliya Maah, Maahni from the Northern states, Mahua from central India are examples of the vast variety of tribal dishes that can be found in the country. 

Tribal cuisine is nutritional, extremely healthy, and is greatly influenced by the geography, climate, history, tradition, and beliefs of the community. Thus, locally-grown vegetables and fruits are liberally used in almost all dishes.

Despite the limited use of heavy spices, tribal cuisines are absolutely delicious and mouth-watering!
